While taking these images I tried to get close to the flowers to get their detail. To capture high contrast I used a lamp to create shadows. For this assignment, the hardest part was adjusting the background to be dark but still showing the detail of the flowers. I did enjoy this type of photography because I like how it focuses on the detail of plants without any distractions in the background. For this assignment, I was able to capture the photographer's contrast but it was difficult to capture the value because I couldn't get my background as dark as her.
